ODD LOT at the LOFT ON LIBERTY

Improv Comedy (2)Saturday, March 18th was the first show in Odd lot’s new space The Loft On Liberty! Directly above the Savannah Coffee Roasters and Bistro.

We will be bringing the highest quality comedy entertainment to downtown Savannah from our new home from here on out!

Fast, funny, and always family friendly! Come to the Coffee Roasters for the best food in town and visit us at the loft for the best comedy in town!

Our new Indiegogo!

Welcome, 2017!

We’re sad to say that we’ve only got a month left at our Muse Arts Warehouse home. That’s right, only 4 Monday Night Madness shows are left at the Muse.

But fret not, our wonderful Oddities, all hope is not lost. We’re going to be moving into a brand new loft space located above the Savannah Coffee Roasters in the heart of Savannah!

The new space will be going up in March and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ll be able to put on multiple shows a week in addition to our Monday Night Madness shows and more classes and workshops!

But we need your help. Our new space needs electricity, air conditioning, and, er, walls, to be complete. So we’ve set up an Indiegogo campaign and we’re humbly asking for any help that you’re able to provide to Savannah’s Favorite Comedy Team.

Any amount will help and be appreciated and we can’t wait to bring you guys even more of the oddness you have come to know and love.

So head on over to our Indiegogo!

MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS (DEC 5TH, 2016)

Monday Night Madness is on, tonight, at 8pm, ladies and gentlemen, but it’s not your standard, great MNM. Oh no. Tonight, we’ve got a very special announcement to make. Something big. Something…out of this world, perhaps?

Actually, it’s quite a part of this world, but still, it’s a pretty big announcement. So come on out, party with Savannah’s Favorite Comedy Team, and be the first in line to hear our big announcement.

NO MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS (NOV. 7th, 2016)

There will be no Monday Night Madness show this evening because Savannah Shake’s Shakespeare Company (say that five times fast) is in the midst of Tech Week for their performance of Henry V, at the Muse Arts Warehouse.

If you’ve ever seen a Savannah Shakes performance before, or haven’t had the chance to experience one yet, don’t miss out on this great show. Set during the tumultuous Vietnam War, the show follows King Henry as he attempts to capture the throne of France. Betrayal, battles, and even comic hijinks are abound in this play, so you don’t want to miss out.

Head on over to the Savannah Shakes’ Facebook Page for more information.

Show dates are:

Friday Nov. 11 – Nov. 13th

Friday Nov. 18th – Nov. 20th

Tickets are FREE for Vietnam Veterans, $15 regular admission, $10 students/seniors/military. Call (912) 421-9585 or email savshakes@gmail.com to reserve your seats!

Hey, everyone! Last week, all of our Monday Night Madness show proceeds went to Loop it Up Savannah, a local, charitable organization that helps children through arts and crafts and special school toolboxes.

This week, tonight, our MNM proceeds are going to Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, a food bank whose mission is to distribute nutritious food to nonprofit agencies and at risk elderly and children, to assist in disaster relief, and work towards long term solutions to hunger and poverty.

So in lieu of our standard $5 ticket price, we’re asking for charitable donations from an organization that’s doing such great work for the area and we want them to keep doing that work. So come on out, support Savannah’s Favorite Comedy Team, and support Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia

Our all original production of Slotherhouse is TONIGHT!

double

TONIGHT… enjoy the insanity that is …SLOTHERHOUSE

The story of a Greedy Zoo CEO, his neglected goth daughter, a egocentric scientist and his assistants, a young couple, a precocious 10 year old, an animal rights activist, a sloth expert, and…. oh heck, it’s a crazy parody of bad horror movies, live, on stage. There’s 6 foot mutant sloth, I don’t what else you need.
…except maybe a double feature with “The Killer Shrews”! This bona fide cult classic stars a young James Best (better known as “Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane” on the old TV series THE DUKES OF HAZARD) and Ken Curtis (better known as the crusty hillbilly “Festus” in the even older TV series GUNSMOKE) as part of a small group of men and women who find themselves trapped on a small, isolated island during a hurricane, where they are brutalized by a pack of mutated “giant killer shrews.” These tiny, voracious rodents (which are famed for having such high metabolisms that they must consume several times their body weight daily in order to survive, were created accidentally by a scientist on the island who was attempting to discover a way to shrink human beings to one-half their normal size, to help prevent overcrowding of the earth. In reality, these “giant killer shrews” are actually played by a handful of friendly dogs with long rubber fangs glued to their teeth and what appear to be carpet samples tied onto their backs. A guaranteed crowd pleaser, it’s considered one of the most unintentionally funny horror films ever made.

ONLY TEN DOLLARS FOR BOTH SHOWS!!!!
7:30pm

The evening will begin with The Killer Shrews, with Slotherhouse to follow.

NO MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS (OCT 03rd, 2016)

double

There is no Monday Night Madness show this evening, October 03rd, 2016, because we’re going into tech week for our original production, Slotherhouse! A B-Horror style comedy about a mutant sloth that terrorizes a zoo. What’s not to love?

Slotherhouse runs Friday, October 07th through Sunday, October 09th. Buuuuut, on Friday, we’re doing a Double Feature, so to speak, of Slotherhouse and the equally as campy “The Killer Shrews”! The Killer Shrews kicks off at 8pm, with Slotherhouse afterwards.

Tickets are $15 on October 7th for the Double Feature. $10 on the 8th and 9th.
